Of course, we know what’s happening to Jennifer Aniston or with Courtney Cox, who are both still being talked about because of their careers. On the other hand, Matt LeBlanc has been quite after the dismal performance and eventual cancellation of his spin-off sitcom Joey. But LeBlanc’s back with a new comedy show called Episodes. In this new show he actually plays himself, making the show almost like a mockumentary similar to Lisa Kudrow’s brilliant series The Comeback.

It is not exactly a secret the Joey is one of the most well loved character in the series, what being an eccentric and all. In the second season, he actually gets a lot more spotlight than his normal focus in season one. It all begins when Joey, once frustrated actor extraordinaire, finally lands a role in a soap opera. This then becomes the turning point of his life, whereas he used to be just someone thinking he is somebody whose attempts have always been laughed at, this time, he has actually stepped out of his nobody shadow and has become someone almost everyone knew.

The second season of Friends has a more elaborate and somewhat more tangible plot lines. Here the tables have been turned with regards to the Rachel-Ross tandem. With the appearance of another woman in Ross’ life, Rachel begins to realize just how deeply she has actually fallen for him. While Ross is seeing the new girl, Rachel does what Ross has been doing all along in the first season—try and tell him what she feels. The irony here is really quite amusing, granted the whole scenario is somewhat cliché. Okay so it’s typical and simple, but a plot doesn’t have to be complicated or totally out of this world to be enjoyable, that is where creative screen play comes in after all.

Episode 19: The One Where the Monkey Gets Away
March 9, 1995

Rachel refuses to be bested by her former fiancé and bridesmaid when she finds out that the two are engaged. She wants to get back to the dating scene. Ross then decides to ask her out, but wasn’t able to when Rachel loses Marcel while taking care of him for Ross, they argue. To try and make up for her mistake, Rachel calls animal control, not knowing that the monkey is an illegal exotic animal. To make things more interesting, the animal catcher, Luisa, turns out to have gone to high school with Monica and Rachel. Unfortunately, she hates Rachel. She is convinced to be a little lax only when threatened with blackmail about Luisa shooting Phoebe. Meanwhile, Joey and Chandler search for Marcel but then meet two hot chicks with a broken radiator. Ross is about to ask Rachel but then Barry barges in, announcing that he’s still in love with Rachel.

Episode 18: The One with All The Poker
March 2, 1995

Rachel wants out as a waitress so she sends out resumes. She gets an interview with Saks 5th Avenue. Ross finds himself still mooning over Rachel. Meanwhile, the girls decide that they get to join the guys during their poker games. Despite apprehensions, the guys accept. The game ends up in favor of the guys, which the girls don’t take well and insist on a rematch. Monica ends up throwing a plate on a Pictionary game but denies that it was nothing more than an accident. Later, she asks poker tips from an Aunt. Still, the girls don’t do well. Rachel gets the news that she is rejected from the job and gets really heated during the game. Ross lets her win so she can be happy.

Episode 17: The One With Two Parts, part 2
February 23, 1995

Rachel is sick so Monica takes her to the hospital. Rachel admits that she has no insurance so she and Monica proceed to switch identities. This becomes a problem when two hot guy doctors (ER’s George Clooney and Noah Wyle) ask them on dates. The two best friends start to argue and begin to enumerate each other’s faults in front of their dates. Meanwhile, Ross gets paranoid about being a good father to his baby. He asks advice from his own Dad. Joey dates Ursula which makes him miss Phoebe’s birthday. Then again, Ursula stands Joey up and refuses to return his calls. Phoebe talks to her sister and finds out that the evil twin just plans to leave Joey up in the air. Phoebe then pretends to be Ursula so she can break up with Joey. Marcel chokes on scrabble tiles and ends up in the hospital. Ross finally finds out that he can be a good father.

Episode 16: The One With Two Parts, part 1
February 23, 1995

Everyone meets Ursula, Phoebe’s evil twin whom she can’t get along with no matter what. Joey begins dating Ursula which bothers Phoebe a lot. Ross then attends Lamaze class with his ex-wife, Carol and her lesbian partner, Susan. Carol starts to have doubts whether she can go through the delivery or not while Ross is ecstatic and in awe as he realizes that he really is about to be a father. Meanwhile, Chandler dates an employee that he can’t fire and ends up telling everyone that the girl is mentally unstable so that she can’t be fired. Back to Ross who can’t control his pet monkey, which switches Monica’s TV into Spanish mode. No one can’t figure how to turn it back to normal. Mad About You characters, Jamie and Fran, find themselves in Central Perk. Rachel takes down the Christmas lights but falls down. She ends up hanging upside-down at Mr. Heckles window.

Episode 15: The One with The Stoned Guy
February 16, 1995

Chandler is fed up with his career so even if he gets a promotion he turns it down. His boss however, seems to not want to let him go and offers him more and more money until Chandler gives up and finally accepts. He then spends the day showing off his new office to Phoebe and ends up working really late into the night. Meanwhile, Monica tries out for a new-head chef job with Phoebe’s friend. This too turns out into a disaster as the potential employer is stoned and makes one trouble after another. Ross then goes out with a woman from the museum. He is shocked to find out that she likes men who talk dirty to her. Ross is shy at first but then in the end…

Episode 14: The One With The Candy Hearts
February 9, 1995

Ross decides to go out on a date with a woman who lives in his apartment building. Her name is Kristen. As the two sits in a restaurant, Carol and Susan suddenly show up. Susan gets paged and thus leaves Carol alone. Ross pays more attention to her than to his date that Kristen finally loses her patience and leaves him. Meanwhile, Joey asks Chandler for a favor, as Lorraine won’t agree to go on a date with Joey unless he shows up with a date for her friend. Chandler agrees to go, but for some freaky coincidence, the date turns out to be Janice and they get back together again. Janice then buys Chandler candy hearts for Valentines Day. Unfortunately, in the end, Chandler decides to break up with Janice again. The girls on the other hand, perform a cleansing ritual to rid themselves of bad luck with men. The ritual flame grows into a fire and male firefighters come to the rescue.
